Nestled in the shadow of the ancient ruin of Barden Tower, the Barden Bunk Barn has been converted from former stables and provisions stores into group accommodation sleeping up to 24. The barn is only let to one group at a time has a fully equipped kitchen, central heating etc. It is an ideal base to explore the Yorkshire Dales, situated between Bolton Abbey and Burnsall on the Duke of Devonshire's Bolton Abbey Estate in Upper Wharfedale. The site is grade 1 listed being one of the most important historically in the Dales and has fantastic views of the valley with superb river and hill walks nearby.
Groups are varied from family get togethers, walking and climbing clubs, schools, scout groups. team building courses, football team exchanges, murder mystery events and even diners of The Priests House restaurant who do not want to worry about driving home!
The barn is also regularly used for evening parties following wedding receptions held at The Priests House.
Corporate clients use the facility as an away day venue, where staff can have some time out, discuss the issues of the day in total privacy, undertake some team building sessions and have a pleasant meal in the evening. Regular clients include ASDA, Real Radio, The North Bar, Direct Line and M&B.
