Nestled in the shadow of Barden Tower, the Barden Bunk Barn has been converted from former stables into a well appointed group accommodation venue sleeping up to 24 people.

Situated on the Duke of Devonshire's Bolton Abbey Estate in Upper Wharfedale, the whole site, which consists of the ruined tower, the Priests House restaurant and the bunk barn, is grade 1 listed being one of the most important historically in the Yorkshire Dales.

It is an ideal get away to explore the  dales, have a reunion or just relax with friends. It boasts fantastic views of the valley with superb river and hill walks nearby.

We only let out the barn to one group at a time and thus is not suitable for groups of less than 8-10.

News....News....News....

Late cancellation - Weekend of 14-16 June now available

Also Mon 27th to Wed 29th May - bank holiday midweek.

Earlier in the year a music video was shot using the backdrop of Barden Tower, the bunk barn and the restaurant grounds. A great song written and performed by  Karina Hanssen

Increasingly, corporate clients use the facility as a midweek away day venue, where staff can have some time out, discuss the issues of the day in total privacy, undertake some team building sessions and have a pleasant meal in the evening, either by self catering or at the next door Priests House restaurant. Regular clients include ASDA,, Morrisons, Direct Line and Sainsburys.

The barn is also ideal for guest accommodation following weddings held at The Priests House.
Like many similar venues in the Yorkshire Dales, weekends tend to book well in advance, so you will need to plan ahead. Midweek is generally more readily available.
Since 19th October 2010
