...but leave some time for wining and dining
The visit is not all about work. After a hard days activities enjoy a relaxing night out at
The Priests House restaurant.
Based on the same site as the bunk barn you don’t even have to worry about transport. Have a lovely, relaxing meal and a few drinks at this historic restaurant which featured on ITV’s series “The Real Emmerdale”

You could even enjoy a night with a difference by having a Medieval Night. A menu of dishes available from the 14th and 15th Century, dining with cutlery of that age (or your fingers!) on trenchers and goblets to drink from all in an authentic setting with real log fires. Traditional costume all the more welcome.

Barden Bunk Barn - An ideal base for
staff development, team building or activity events

Training your staff does not have to cost the earth. Using the Barden Bunk Barn as your base generates a greater sense of togetherness and fostering of teamwork (even sorting out a rota for cooking and washing up can be a challenge!).  Perhaps not five star luxury, but not five star prices either. Anyway, that’s not the point...is it?
...money for team away days is at a premium, but using barns is an absolute snip...and everyone mixing together really bonds the team...
As a venue to get well away from the dreaded office, discuss what needs discussing in a relaxed atmosphere, then wind down with a walk along the river or undertake some other outside activity, it can’t be beaten. Then end the day with a pool competition, or a games of cards, it all adds to the bonding experience.

Even better, the office can’t get hold of you as there is no mobile phone signal at the barn. You may as well be on another planet!

Other groups book for staff parties, charities and local councils bring various groups to experience the country and even brass bands have used the barn as a practice facility.

Whatever the event, the Upper Wharfedale valley provides the perfect, peaceful setting.
